Marshall Artist Schematics
The Artist amps had a tube power amp and a solid state preamp. Don’t confuse these amps with the 1970s Artiste amps. It isn’t quite clear to me whether or not these amps were actually part of the JCM800 range, as these amps don’t have the JCM800 logos, but they were included in the JCM800 catalog and they were manufactured in the same period and had the same looks and style.
3203 Artist 30, 30W head
The 3203 Artist was introduced in 1984 and discontinued in 1991. The 4203 is the combo version of the 3203 head.
The preamp is solid state, only the power amp uses tubes (1x ECC83/12AX7 & 2x EL34).

4203 Artist 30, 30W 1×12″ combo
The 4203 Artist 30 was introduced in 1986 and discontinued in 1991. The 3203 is the Mini Stack head version of the 4203.
The preamp is solid state, only the power amp uses tubes (1x ECC83/12AX7 & 2x EL34). This combo was fitted with a 12″ Celestion G12 Vintage T3896 8Ω speaker. The power transformer (PT) is a Drake 1961-112 and the output transformer (OT) is a Drake 292-700.
