Marshall JMP Solid State Schematics
Although these aren’t tube amps, these amps are still (a small) part of the Marshall story. They were Marshalls first venture into solid state country. These amps weren’t particularly good sounding or popular.

1994 JMP 100W Slave, 100W PA Slave head
This PA slave amp was in production only in 1973.

2077 JMP Bass 100 Solid State, 100W 4×12″ combo
This amp was in production from 1973 up to 1978. It was one of the first all transistor Marshall combos. It was the Bass model of the 2078. It has two channels and an effects loop. These amps were fitted with four 12″ Celestion G12M Bass (55Hz) speakers.

2078 JMP Lead 100 Solid State, 100W 4×12″ combo
This amp was in production from 1973 up to 1978. It was one of the first all transistor Marshall combos. It was the Lead model of the 2077. It has two channels and an effects loop. These amps were fitted with four 12″ Celestion G12M Lead (75Hz) speakers.

2098 JMP Lead, 100W head
This amp was in production from 1975 up to 1977. It was one of the first all transistor Marshall heads. It was meant for use with a 2412 cabinet. This was the head version of the 2200 Master Lead Combo. Even though this is solid state amp, it still sported an output (self) transformer.

2099 JMP Bass, 100W head
This amp was in production from 1975 up to 1977. It was the bass version of the 2098 head. It was meant for use with the 2212 cabinet.

2195 JMP Lead & Bass, 100W head
This amp (and cabinet) was in production from 1976 up to 1980. It was an all transistor Master Volume amp. The 2196 cabinet was the designated companion for this head.

2199 JMP Master Lead Combo, 30W 2×12″ combo
This amp was in production from 1976 up to 1980. It was an all transistor Master Volume amp. It was fitted with two 12″ Celestion G12L T1632 8Ω speakers.

2200 JMP 100W Lead Combo, 100W 2×12″ combo
This amp was in production from 1976 up to 1980. It was an all transistor Master Volume amp. This was the combo version of the 2098 Master Lead head.

2201 JMP Lead & Bass, 30W 2×12″ combo
This amp was in production from 1975 up to 1977. It was an all transistor amp. It is said that these amps were only available through mail order.

2299 JMP Master Lead Reverb, 30W 2×12″ combo
This amp was in production from 1976 up to 1980. It was an all transistor Master Volume amp with a reverb. It was fitted with two Celestion 12″ G12L T1632 8Ω speakers.

2196, 2×12″ 100W 4Ω cabinet
This cabinet was in production from 1976 up to 1980. It was the companion for the 2195 head.
2412, 4×12″ 150W cabinet
It is claimed that these cabinets were fitted with four 12″ Eminence speakers and had an impedance of 16Ω. It was the companion cabinet for the 2098 head.
