The Valvestate 2000 AVT (Advanced Valvestate Technology) amps were introduced in 2001, superceding the Valvestate Mk2 amps.
AVT20, 20W 1×10″ combo
The AVT20 is 20W, 2 Channel, 1×10″ Combo with Reverb. Marshall’s entry level AVT amplifier features 2 Channels (Clean and Overdrive), Accutronics spring reverb, plus controls for Bass, Middle and Treble. In addition, the AVT20 Combo offers Emulated DI & Headphone outputs, CD input and a 10″ custom designed Celestion speaker.

AVT50, 50W 1×12″ combo
The AVT50 is a 50W, 1×12″ combo with Reverb that features 2 independent foot switchable Channels (Clean and Overdrive), Accutronics spring reverb, Series FX loop, Emulated DI & Headphone outputs, CD input and a sturdy 1-way footswitch. The Clean channel sounds range from pristine clean tone all the way to the JCM800 crunch. It features controls for Gain, Volume, Bass and Treble. The Overdrive channel goes from a hot-rodded JCM800 all the way to a JCM2000 and has controls for Gain, Volume, Bass, Middle and Treble. In addition, the AVT50 Combo is equipped with a 12″ custom designed Celestion Extended Bass Response speaker.

AVT50H, 50W head
The ATV50H is a 50W head with Reverb that features 2 independent foot switchable Channels (Clean and Overdrive), Accutronics spring reverb, Series FX loop, Emulated DI & headphone outputs, CD input and a sturdy 1-way footswitch. The Clean channel provides sounds that range from a vintage sounding Plexi through the JCM800 crunch, and it features controls for Gain, Volume, Bass and Treble. The Overdrive channel goes from a hot-rodded JCM800 all the way to a JCM2000 and has controls for Gain, Volume, Bass, Middle and Treble.

AVT100, 100W 1×12″ combo
The AVT100 is a 100W, 3 channel (Clean, OD1 and OD2), 1×12″ Combo with a DFX section. The Clean channel runs through the preamp valve and has a separate Bright switch plus controls for Bass, Middle and Treble. Overdrive 1 sounds range from a vintage sounding Plexi all the way to the JCM800 crunch. Overdrive 2 goes from a hot-rodded JCM800 all the way to a JCM2000. Separate Gain & Volume controls are provided, plus scoop controls (OD1/OD2), Master Volume & Master Presence controls, Parallel FX loop, Emulated DI & Headphone output jacks and a heavy-duty 4-way LED footswitch. The ATV100 Combo features a custom designed Celestion 12″ Extended Bass Response speaker.

AVT150, 150W 1×12″ combo
The AVT150 is a 150 Watt, 1×12″ Combo that has many of the same features as the AVT275. It offers 4 channels (Acoustic Emulation, Clean, OD1 & OD2), two DFX sections (one for Acoustic / Clean, the other for OD1/OD2), separate Gain & Volume controls as well as individual scoop controls for the OD1 & OD2 channels. Also featured are Master Volume & Master Presence controls, Parallel FX loop, Emulated DI & Headphone output, heavy duty 6-way LED footswitch and a custom designed Celestion 12″ Extended Bass Response speaker.

AVT150H, 150W head
The AVT150H is a 150 Watt head featuring 4 channels (Acoustic Emulation, Clean, OD1 & OD2) and two DFX sections (one for Acoustic / Clean, the other for OD1/OD2). The AVT150H has separate Gain & Volume controls as well as individual scoop controls for the OD1 & OD2 channels, Master Volume & Master Presence controls, Parallel FX loop, Emulated DI & Headphone output and a heavy-duty 6-way LED footswitch. The AVT150H Head was specially designed to drive the matching Marshall AVT412A (angled front) and AVT412B (straight front) speaker cabinets. Both cabinets are equipped with four custom designed 12″ Celestion speakers.

AVT275, 2x 75W 2×12″ combo
The AVT275 Stereo Combo is Marshall’s top-of-the-line AVT amplifier. The AVT275 is a 2x 75W, 2×12″ Combo featuring two independent DFX sections and 4 channels (Acoustic Emulation, Clean, OD1 & OD2). Overdrive 1 sounds range from a vintage sounding Plexi all the way to the JCM800 crunch. Overdrive 2 goes from a hot-rodded JCM800 all the way to a JCM2000. The Clean channel runs through the preamp valve and has a separate Bright switch plus controls for Bass, Middle & Treble. The Acoustic Emulation Channel features a Body Switch that enables the body resonance to change from a regular size acoustic to a Jumbo acoustic. Separate Gain & Volume controls as well as individual scoop controls (for thrash to crushing metal) are provided for the OD1 & OD2 channels. Additional features include: Master Volume & Master Presence controls, Parallel / Stereo FX loop, Emulated DI & Headphone output and a heavy-duty 6-way LED footswitch. Two custom designed Celestion 12″ Extended Bass Response speakers complete the lineup of this flexible AVT combo.
